Chapter 3

"WAKE UP!"
This is what I woke up to on Christmas morning. Misty was very excited, and when I rolled over to look at the clock, it said 5:00. Why do kids have to go so crazy over Christmas?
Yawning, I slowly sat up. Somehow, I was once again getting up early. At least I'd slept better than the night before. "OK," I said, "But before I leave this room, I have to get dressed, brush my hair, and put on some makeup!'
"NO!" Misty yelled, "I want to open presents some time this millennium!"
It was 5:30 by the time Misty got us out of bed. Then, she led the was to the living room, where our tree was.
We ended up opening Lorelei's presents first. "You might not have much use for these now," She said, "But maybe they're still what you've always wanted."
I ripped mine open and found my very own set of Pokemon Princess dolls. Pokemon Princesses were always my favourite. Every day at 4:00, I had to run over to my friend's house because I absolutely had to see the show and we didn't have a TV. "Thanks so much, Lore!" I exclaimed.
"Misty, I found out what you wanted from a display in a TV store," Lorelei explained, "they were playing an old tape of interviews with the gym leaders, and you were there with your other sisters. Can you remember what you told the interviewer you wanted when you were 6, but they refused to get you?"
Misty obviously did, because she started ripping the paper off the large box madly. "All I ever wanted was an Easy Bake oven," Misty said, "But Lily, Violet, and Daisy said
that I was never allowed to cook, and if I wanted food, I could call the pizza place. You're the best sister ever!"
"My presents really suck!" I said, "Once again, Lorelei had shown me up.
"I'm sure they don't," Lorelei said, "Where are they?"
I passed them each a present. they both looked confused because it was round, but when Misty got the wrapping paper off, she exclaimed, "It's a pokemon!" They both released the Majicarps from their pokeballs.
"It's a Majicarp!" Lorelei said.
"I know right now they're weak pokemon, but I thought that you might want to train them," I explained, feeling stupid, "When they evolve, they'll be strong. And Lorelei, you said that your job was getting boring, so maybe training a new pokemon would be fun!"
"Great idea!" Lorelei said, "Thanks, Jessie!"
"Yeah!" Misty said, "When it evolves, I'll have revenge on Ash! I got you presents, too. Here's yours, Lorelei, but I don't know where Jessie's went." She kept looking down the hall until finally, she got up, ran down the hall, and came back with a mess of wrapping paper with yellow feet hanging out the bottom. She put it down in front of me, and I ripped off the paper and exclaimed, "A Pikachu!"
"Ash's Pikachu to be exact," Misty said, "I saw Ash and Brock at the mall, and Pikachu told me that it's only Christmas wish was to never see Ash again. So I took it, because nobody should have to put up with Ash like that. It promises to listen to you and James, and Meowth, and whoever else as long as it never has to see Ash again."
Maybe she's not such a bad little sister after all, I thought. But before I could thank her, she said, "I hope this makes up for stealing your dad, blowing you up, and ruining your Christmas!"
"It wasnt your fault," I said, "But even Pikachu hates Ash? What a loser!"
"I know!" Misty said, "Ash is probably spending Christmas looking for his so-called best friend. I feel kind of sorry for Brock and Ash's mom for having to put up with him."
"Who's Ash?" Lorelei asked. I'd almost forgotten that she didn't know about him.
"This self-centered, stupid guy who destroyed my bike and I'm following him until he pays me back," Misty said, "And Jessie and I have met before, in case you're wondering how she knows him."
"You know you love him," I said. I thought it couldn't be more obvious that the twirps liked each other. And I wanted to get away from the whole knowing the twirps thing.
"EEEWWWWWW!!!!" Misty yelled, "I hate him! Brock's my friend though, Lorelei. They're the people I travel around with, training pokemon. And Jessie's friends are James and a talking Meowth, in case they come up. Where are James and Meowth, anyway, Jessie? I've never seen one of you without the others before!"
"On the sub," I said, "I left them alone for Christmas, and now they're probably mad at me."
"Why don't we all invite some friends over tomorrow?" Lorelei suggested. "Then we
can all meet each others friends and we can go out somewhere."
Lorelei didn't know what she was saying, bringing my friends and Misty's friends together. But I didn't want her to know how Misty and I had met, so I told her that it was a great idea. Then, Misty suggested that we meet our friends somewhere else, since Ash and Brock were too stupid to find the house without getting lost. That was fine by me, since I didn't really want James and Meowth to see my old house. We decided to go to the movies.
I was almost afraid to call my friends, since I thought they would be mad at me. But James sounded thrilled to come. We even devised a plan to dress Meowth up like a baby in case the theater wouldn't let pokemon in. He did ask where I was, and I told him that I was visiting my sisters. Luckily, James didn't ask any more. Anyone else would have asked more abut my sisters, like what were their names or where did they live. But I think James understands what it's like to not want people knowing about your past. He doesn't tell me about his either. It's sort of like a deal we have.
Maybe it wasn't such a bad Christmas after all.

Chapter 4

"Hey, Jessie, look over there! It's the Elite Four!" James exclaimed, "And there's the twirp trio! What's our plan this time?" It was the day after Christmas, and we were at the movies. But the movie hadn't started yet, so we were talking.
"We don't have one," I said, "And we don't need one."
"But how will we steal Pikachu?" James asked.
"We don't have to," I said, "My sister already did, and she gave him to me for Christmas!"
"I thought that you said your sisters would be here."
"And they are..." I trailed off. The Boss of Team Rocket was coming towards us. Only James, Meowth (AKA. James' nephew, baby Bob), and I knew but he didn't go out very often, and I wondered what brought him to Sunnytown. Lance from the Elite Four was talking to him out in the aisle.
"Hey, James," I said, "Let's go get some more snacks."
"Okay!" James yelled. He loves food.
"Jessie! James!" the Boss exclaimed, "Don't leave so soon!"
"How did he know their names?" Misty whispered.
"She works for me," The Boss said.
"Then you're the leader of Team Rocket!" Ash yelled, standing up.
"Team Rocket?!" The Elite Four exclaimed.
"They stole my Pikachu!" Ash exclaimed.
"No, we didn't!" James and I yelled.
"If you must know, I stole him!" Misty said, "He despises you, Ash! The only thing he wanted for Christmas was to never have to see you again, so I gave him to Jessie!"
"I thought Jessie's sister did that!" James said. I'm so lucky he's stupid!
"She was my accomplice," Misty lied. I guess she didn't want her friends to know either, not that I blame her. Ash ran out of the theater crying.
"Jessie, are you really on Team Rocket?" Lorelei asked.
"Lets go get those snacks," James said, standing up. But just then, the lights went out. A big red "R" appeared on the screen and the Boss' evil laughter filled the theater. The Boss' henchmen suddenly appeared all around. The first ones grabbed Lance and tried to take his Dragonite. then, more appeared, taking money and pokemon from everyone.
"Run!" James yelled, picking up Baby Meowth, grabbing me by the arm, and running into the lobby, the only way out not completely blocked by the Boss' henchmen.
Everyone else followed, at least everyone who hadn't been captured or hadn't run out of the theater crying. People in the other movies were running, too, and all the lights were out, so the lobby was like a maze. I got separated from everyone, but finally, I found my way outside.
I frantically looked around for my friends and sisters, but they were nowhere to be seen. Suddenly, I heard a voice behind me yell, "Hey, Jessie, over here!" I turned around to see Meowth. He was no longer wrapped in a blanket, but he still had a bonnet on. Under any other circumstance, I would have laughed at him, but then I didn't really notice. I ran over to him.
"Quick, hide back here!" Meowth said, leading the way behind some bushes, "I've found James, two of those stupid twirps, and one of those Elite Four people you were with." I ducked behind the bush, and James, Misty, Brock, and Lorelei all started to talk at once.
"He's taking people hostage in that stolen moving van!" James said.
"He's going to blow up the theater," Misty said, "I saw him with a whole bunch of dynamite!"
"He got the rest of the Elite Four," Lorelei said.
"He even got Ash!" Brock said, "He must've been hanging around waiting for us."
The henchmen were still throwing people in the moving van, but as soon as everyone was locked inside, the Boss came out with Ash, who was all tied up. "The world is mine!" The Boss yelled, "I captured the Elite Four, and I will use their pokemon to take over the world!"
"Not all of the Elite Four!" Lorelei said.
"And not if I can help it!" I said.
"Come on, let's get him!" Misty said.
"Do I have to?" James whined as I dragged him out from behind the bush. I yelled, "YES!"
"Come on, Brock!" Misty said.
"No way! He's scary!" Brock said, cowering in fear, "Get Meowth to help."
"Goo goo. I am a baby!" Meowth said. Sisters may not always be your best friends, but when your evil boss attacks, they're much more useful.
"Forget them!" I said, "Boss, prepare for trouble!"
"Make it double!" James said.
The Boss was surprised, "Jessie! James! You traitors! And Lorelei, what are you doing there? I locked you in the van!"
"No, you didn't!" Lorelei said, "Get him!"
I called Arbok out of its pokeball, and at the same time, James, Lorelei and Misty got out Wheezing, Lapras, and Starmie.
"Uh, Jessie, James, wait!" The Boss was getting nervous, "What do you say we make a deal. Say, half of Team Rocket?"
"No!" I said.
"Well.. uh.." The Boss pushed Ash out in front of him. "Attack me and he'll die too!"
"We can't blow up a kid!" Lorelei said.
"Yes, we can." James said, "He's that stupid twirp who blows us up all the time."
"You should try being around him 24 hours a day!" Misty said, "That's the stupid Ash kid I was telling you about."
"Well, I guess it's okay, then," Lorelei said.
All 4 pokemon attacked at once, and the power caused a massive explosion. The Boss and Ash went flying through the air. Ash screamed, but the Boss said, "I'll be back and you'll be sorry!" Like a chain reaction, all the henchmen, who were actually robots, blew up and the back of the van flew open. Out came all the prisoners.
"Who wants to go back to our house and celebrate?" Lorelei asked.

After Lorelei, Misty and I creamed James, Brock, and Bruno and Lance from the Elite Four in a snowball fight (Boys against girls was Brock's idea, hoping to win and show off), we went inside to have some hot chocolate. When I went into the kitchen to refill my cup, Misty followed me.
"Are you telling James and Meowth?" She asked.
"No way. they'd never talk to me again if they knew. Are you telling Ash and Brock?" I said.
"Never. But Ash's blasted off. I couldn't tell him if I wanted to."
"He'll be back. Aren't we always?" I know she likes him, even if she pretends to hate him.

"The Elite Four are cool," James said when we left, "But how do you know them?"
"I just met them tonight," I said. It was only 1/4 a lie.
"And your sisters never showed."
"Yes, they did. Didn't you see them?"
"Nope," He said. Once again, I'm lucky he's stupid.
"James, have your baby bonnet back!" Meowth yelled, throwing it at James, "I'm never playing baby again! We didn't even get to see the movie."
"Oh well. The Boss is gone and we have the Pikachu," James said.
That reminded me. Lorelei had found out about Team Rocket. But either she'd forgotten, or I was forgiven for blasting off my evil boss.
"But Jessie," James continued, "Now that Ash and the Boss are gone, what are we going to do? It's pathetic, but I'm going to miss trying to steal Pikachu."
"As I told Misty..." I started.
"Why were you talking to her?" James asked.
"She was crying about her boyfriend being blown up," I lied, "But anyway, when we blast off, we come back! And Ash has lots of other pokemon we can steal! How about that Charizard?"
